Description: The Frost Targ is a bulkier, cold-adapted variant found in the icy mountains and tundra of Boreth. With a thick, white or light grey-blue coat, these targs are well-camouflaged in snowy landscapes. Their fur is denser than that of other breeds, and they also possess a thick layer of fat beneath their skin to insulate them against freezing temperatures. Their broad hooves are ideal for walking on ice and snow, while their powerful, slow-moving bodies allow them to plow through deep snowdrifts in search of food. Frost Targs have sharp tusks, not only for defense but also for digging through the snow to uncover vegetation. These targs are solitary and quiet, with a diet consisting mainly of sparse tundra vegetation or carrion. They are well-suited for the isolated, harsh conditions of Boreth’s wilderness.
